'When The Poet Sings' by L.A. Salami – Burberry Acoustic

hi my name is la salami and I'm in a house by the Thames and some boats going by and it's sunny this is barbaric a stick and I'm gonna play your song called when the poet sings it's about a good friend of mine on the autumn streets when the city is away on some lonesome quest for winter the man who sings his poems and rattles this display and the neon spectrums turn to splinter and the nights are cold sometimes but never for his pages they don't sway against this will Durov the stay and the ageless battle cries I honor from my eyes no longer rise because the singing poet is wife said that love of mine won't wither the time would bring a treasure trove withing and the shadows now are just the sliver but still it stings but it doesn't matter you under the smoky chimes of roll-up cigarettes and rock beneath the palms of makeshift filter hers he told me that my stories were not really worth their weight sometimes and it was best to let them winter the life song and around those bells of innocence some done with this side of the Sun but we've been his song I sell amongst the sounds where sunlight fell when my experience begun when I'm ever worn the virtues of my mind of torn away no such sounds went straight if I keep my sorry is thou not with a time will bring treasure trove of thing and the shadows now are just a sliver but still it stings but it doesn't matter when the poets sing when this drifting debutante madonna's come obey and her days of youth over she and I were both surmise that the poet song would brush aside dismay just as the infant sorrow told her and on the day that I am slayed and by the colors of my mind betrayed on the Silence of the stage the poet's song was set upon and turns of flames my RiRi rounds set my phenomenons ablaze said my charming death with a wither and the time would bring a treasure trove of thing and the shadows now are just a sliver but still it stings it doesn't matter when same you

  1. Not sure what it is about that hilarious name but it really suits him. Such a gentle soul, freespirited and jovial.

  2. fantastic song there brother, very few legit songwriters around nowadays, plenty of people can put together pointless gibberish that rhymes that's about absolutely nothing with a cool tune to accompany it, but you sir are LEGIT, great song man, keep it up 😉
