  1. Sorry to sound too poetic, but TYO = rather a "rose without a thorn": something that's never a source of aggravation; a rare thing in this world.

  2. Thank you, dear Rik & Vyv, for having bodily functions galore: I fancied you both, so your functions were a comfort to the young me, in a world which contains (real) bowel shame, and (false) accusations of flatulence from schoolmates. There's nothing worse than waiting & hoping aaages to hear/read that another heart-throb does a "big poo", then you just end up hearing/reading that he's a "big poof"!

  3. Have you ever been in pain laughing ? that was me as a kid back in the 80's watching The Young Ones.

  4. …Then one particularly sensitive and articulate teenager will say "Other kids, do you understand nothing? How can Rik be dead when we still have his poems?"   And another kid will say "PTHLFTPLTPFLTPLFPPPPP!"

  5. Never thought I would cry at the death of a celebrity. The only thing my Dad and I ever agreed on, Comedy genius! Not to mention a really nice bloke and still liked to fuck about like a kid. Thanks for the laughs.

  6. Almost but not quite…………. all the Kids will say 'But why are the Grown-Ups crying?'….RIP Rik

  7. Genius is a word used to frequently but Rik Mayall was a genius, a hero and a legend. RIP RIk, thank you, you made the world a better place.
