There’s nothing you can do for your body and for you health that’s better than going
vegan. My life changed incredibly when I stopped eating animals and when I stopped eating animal
products. I definitely felt happier, more positive, I had more energy and I have to
say my body’s never looked better being vegan. And umm it’s literally the best thing
you can do for your health and your looks. My favorite dinners is steamed vegetables,
brown rice and tofu. I like to have broccoli, and kale, and Bok Choy and red cabbage. I’m
the girl that used to eat fast food every single day of my life, so the fact that this
food now tastes good to me, is a miracle! Something happens when you start changing
your diet and you start making small incremental changes or even if you do it over night and
you make one big sweeping change. [Kissing] Pretty. Skinny Bitch is a really easy read,
there’s a ton of compelling and interesting information that’s life-changing. But it’s
written in this really accessible, easy to read way. Every single time someone comes
up to me and tells me “I read your book, it changed my life!” I’m always curious
to know, what exactly was it and I say nine times out of ten it’s because people are
going vegan because they love animals. And they’re horrified to learn exactly what
it is they’re contributing to every single time they sit down to eat. There is not a
single food on the planet that is worth an animal being abused, being beaten, being tortured
and being killed just so I can eat something. As one of my dear friends was saying, once
to another friend of ours “What gives you the right? What gives you the right? How dare
you!” These are my dogs, this is Joey and this is Timber, my vegan dogs. You know they
have minds and will of their own. And they want to live, they want to enjoy life, and
they don’t want to feel pain. And I can look at them and I can look at a cow or a
chicken and or a pig and know that it’s exactly the same way. These animals want to
live and they do want to feel pain and they do feel pain in order for humans to eat them
and that’s not okay with me. The best thing about the vegan diet now in days is that it
can be really healthy, but it can also be really fun. And striking that perfect balance,
it’s never been easier. I love to eat every food on the planet that you can think of.
Except that I don’t like eating animal’s products. But so, because veganism is so popular
and mainstream now you can find substitutes for everything. So, yes you can eat fruits
and vegetables and whole grains, and salads, but you can also have cookies and cupcakes
and pizza and burgers and fries. And it’s an amazing diet that’s fun and healthy,
umm but also really enjoyable. It’s not so much about taking food away as replacing
food and just making smarter choices and better choices. It’s really easy.

  1. Rory is awesome.

What she says is true too. I lost over 40Lbs. when I went vegetarian (mostly vegan diet). I was a fatass back in the days.

  2. soy is garbage food. grains are garbage. no long living culture in the world is strict vegan.
    stay raw and whole.

  3. Don't get me wrong I want to a vegan but evertime I try just switching over to not eating meats and animal products its like I find some type of loophole to go back to eating them. I always keep my dog next to me and I use him as an inspiration not to eat me but nothing is working.

  4. This woman is my heroine. Because of Skinny Bitch, I became vegan. Not only did I lose weight but I've become more compassionate and aware of what is right and wrong. Thank you, Rory, for changing my life for the better!

  5. That's a good vegi interview, one of the best out of the ones I've seen this year. She's talking about a lot of things and with a big smile on her face, very nice. I only needed to look the other way while the horrible parts were there.

  6. @bantenzSkid There is vegan dog food. They are okay not having meat. Cats, on the other hand, must eat meat.

  7. @doffy1 I am almost certain that atleast one of the companies that makes vegan dog food also makes vegan cat food

  8. With genetics it soon should be possible to grow steaks in your fridge
    ^_^
*** Totally great to have PETA right here on Tube getting the word out ***
    Keep 'em coming PETA!

  9. Whateverrrrr lol The fact that she says she was eating fast food every day tells you that it wasn't eating meat that made her fat it was a bad diet of fast food constantly lol there are plenty of people with amazing bodies who eat meat… like me 😎 She a nasty preacher girl… hate preachers lol chicken tastes good.. end of 😎

  10. You stopped going to Fast food restaurants,
Yes because going vegan would make you skinny, not stopping going to Fast Food Restaurants had nothing to do with it.
PS dogs eat meat to, this woman is Really Torturing animals (dogs)

  11. I agree with her views on animals but no women should be called a bitch unless she is actually one, meaning unkind to others, and to me people who care about animals are not usually bitches. I think the title is disgusting and gross and disrespectful to to women and vegans.

  12. @leapinglemur452 the book was titled skinny bitch for one purpose only: to get people's attention so they pick it up and read it

  13. wth thats all i got. you like eatin roots and dirt, go ahead just dont deteur people from eatin what they love and robbing store customers. now some scenarios are bad but not all farms are i mean come on ya gotta wade through a few aholes to get to the good stuff

  14. oh my god … that guy pulled the chicken's head off … and threw it into the wall … and stepped on it … i haven't eaten red meat in 2 1/2 years but it's hard to stop eating chicken because i reallyyy don't like vegetables ): which is why i hate myself ! i wanna try but it's kinda hard because i can't just eat carbs …

  15. @JxOxTxSxB says "because i can't just eat carbs ". If people here think vegan is just carbs, you should educate yourself more about food.

  16. @glittersmcgee well no? cats and dogs cant survive out there themselfs youd rather have pets than having them outisde in the city as strays

  17. @BonSprite I am I agree with the author completely even though her tone is a bit aggressive, yes. I battled weight problems for years, even though I was an ovo-lacto vegetarian who avoided sugar, etc. I went vegan years after reading "Diet for a New America". I didn't do it lose weight (I'm a guy), but I noticed I had more energy, I looked and felt younger — and I got thin! I can exercise longer, my depression went away, I feel lighter , and I can exercise longer. Just try it for yourself

  18. I'm a proud vegan who loves animals so I have mercy on them. Let's fake foods with veganism to save ourselves, animals and the planet.
