In NYC there were several soap operas but with the demise of As The World Turns, NY no longer has only production of soap operas. The following were NY-taped; As The World Turns, Edge of Night, The Guiding Light, One Life to Live, All My Children…just to name a few. Before the end of the NYC based productions of soap operas, Proctor & Gamble spun off it's production arm to TeleNext.
