  1. Isaiah 42:22 – “But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.”

  2. Godbless this man…that’s a deep story he tells at the end about the klansmen on death row. Mr Hinton enjoy your freedom

  6. Thank you Brian Stephens for the selfless work that you do . This makes me so angry . America is one the biggest violators of human rights

  7. Make a movie, Oprah and let even more people see the travesty that Alabama conspired to commit on this innocent man. This is despicable.

  8. How nice of Oprah to invite them to maui 😬😬❤️🎉🙏🏼🧚🏻‍♂️I am also assuming that she’s helping them financially 💰 she’s a generous person without a doubt 💯💯💯

  9. Well done Ray! One of the best true story books I ever read. God knows how many times I cried, this book is very touchy made me emotional. This book shows you how broken and biased system we have. Sometimes, I felt I was with him in prison. I can't imagine how hard is on Ray to not only lost 30 years of his age; but also how hard could be in a death row. I admired Ray's strength, help hope all these years and how he forgave his enemies.

I love it , I love it, I love it…. May God bless the rest of his life , Lester and Bryan. Lester is an example of a true friend. I would say, may be we can find a person like Lester one in a Billion.

  10. I would like every person who believes that people of colour should just move on… and "get over it". To listen to this story… to realize how racism can affect and is affecting so many…. It still makes my skin crawl how a person can hate another human so much..
I was born the year he had been convicted… if i had been borne to his generation, I fear my fate would not have been any different to his.

  11. Omg I can't believe this. This hurts me.. I'm just speechless.. Bless u Mr. Hinton. And Lester. I am going to purchase and read your book. 💛💛💛

  12. OMG! My heart breaks hearing this story. I have listen to Mr. Anthony Ray Hinton's testimony 4 times tonight and have seeped each time. I am ordering the book and will have my college freshman child to read while on summer break. God of Creation, heal our land and the people!

  13. Thank you Gale and Oprah for sharing this amaxing man's triumph. I'm so glad God revealed this before he died for something he did not do.

  14. What a beautiful soul..
    How Shamefull Racism..

    Listening from Egypt
Praying The Lord Will compensate in mysterious Ways..
    & Free All innocent Prisons..

  15. He needs to be compensated generously for this. He needs to live without any form of financial struggle.

  16. You're remarkable Anthony Ray Hinton! What I loved about the book was how you still value humanity and how inspiring your story is. Grateful for you….God keep blessing you.

  17. If they let innocent people free our jails will be empty. In this case, very few justice system will be going home with a paycheck.

  18. Hello Anthony Ray Hinton! This is Debra Bailey Banks, I lived in Birmingport!! Do you remember me? I live in Jacksonville Florida. I'm so happy to know you are doing well. Thank You Jesus!!!!!! God Is Good !!! Tell Lester I said hello !

  19. Just SICKENING to think of human beings, sworn to PROTECT & SERVE, who intentionally and maliciously prosecute an innocent person and have absolutely no remorse!  So grateful for his FREEDOM and loyal supporters. . . . GOD BLESS you Mr. Hinton! Praying for the countless innocent inmates still behind prison walls.

  20. This is so sad.It is better for a guilty person to be unfound than to unjustly jail an innocent person.I cant even imagine how he feels as 30years is a lifetime! Can't we all just get along??

  21. I just finished reading this book, tears are absolutely flowing from my eyes. The level of injustice and racism documented in Hinton's book has made me drop to my knees. Everyone needs to read this book. What Hinton experienced is beyond comprehension and an absolute travesty. We have a lot of work to do in America and within the justice system. Racism and injustice must stop! I can not express the amount of respect and admiration I have for Mr. Hinton. His grace, faith, and trust in God are an inspiration to many. May God richly bless this beautiful man!

  22. Bill Cosby has been found guilty for an offence he allegedly committed decades ago . All those who were behind this man arrest must be indicted . America wake up

  23. It was Dr. Martin Luther King Day…few weeks ago…year 2018…I asked one of my students what were we commemorating today, and the answer was "I don't know"…then I asked, "Who was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.", and the answer was: " l had no idea"…Don't get me wrong…this was a language adult class in the USA….My student was not an illiterate person but a corporation top executive. Seeing this interview made understand many things about civil rights and the history of the USA.

  24. The Justice System for Blacks in America is so UNJUST.
RACIST WHITE FOLK are some Cruel, Brutal S.O.B's and their Pay day is coming.

  25. Miss Oprah, again I'm saying THANK YOU… I will buy this book tonight. Looking forward to your Facebook live in late June. Bless you all.
