Reply climate change?Loada shit.Checkout Piers Corbyn. Reply A great poem, but it was sadly optimistic and missguided. The oceans will rise, because of the existing CO2 in the atmosphere. The CO2 level continues to rise. Protesting while worth something, does nothing if the people continue to buy gasoline/diesel cars. CO2 continues to rise as we continue to use natural gas to heat our homes. CO2 continues to rise as our electrical grid continues to use fossil fuel to make electricity, and we continue to use it. CO2 continues to rise as we buy junk that is built using carbon based fuel. We have to get real, and change our way of living. It will require money, and/or sacrifice from each of us. Reply Thank you Kathy!!!### Reply Moves me every time I re-visit to listen. <3 Reply That's so Touching…. Greetings from PNG! Reply Standing ovation at the UN, amazing! Reply BEAUTIFUL!!…love it… Reply Outstanding ….. Reply beautiful<3 Reply brilliant! thank you Democracy Now for showing this in your reports, this is brilliant 🙂 Reply Kathy you cannot change the climate with few poems.Do you know why we are on this earth?Do you know who created us from ejected semen? The Almighty is the one who create us, and He assigned to us His rules on this Earth in order to live in perfect happiness, security, and health. Because, We are not able to make ourselves happy, and secure on this Earth. Why? Because, we were created weak. We are not able to know the future, and we cannot control other people. The reason we messed up the Earth is because we Did Not comply with our land Lord's law. Not because of 1000s of our conjectures. We messed up the climate, and our foods as the consequence of rejecting and denying our Owner, and Creator. Welcome to 21st century. Truth has come and falsehood will be vanished. Happiness is submission to our Creator Alone. That is the proven scientific fact. Reply But your baby is the problem. The population of the planet increases at three additional people PER SECOND. They all want nice things and no amount of self-righteous anger is going to stop the climate from changing. So you have to choose between one or the other my dear. If you know your baby faces a grim future, why have them? Did someone force you to have children? Reply And yes, we are Micronesians who are close to our Mother, the Good Earth, who teaches us that heart of any change as it may lay with the threats of Climate change, begins with the change within each and everyone of us. We must have faith in our destiny as our ancestors taught when they first sailed to the vast ocean to make these islands are homeland. By the grace of the great Divine above we are stay, t makes these islands another promise land! Reply That was emotional towards the end. Reply Beautiful Reply And Harper is not even there. Please Honourable Leona Aglukkaq, Canadian Minister of the Environment represent our families and our babies and the seven generations to come. Use your wisdom and position to put CANADA back on track and become one of the leaders for change. We beg you. Reply политику не хаваем Reply I came here to see a screening of Avengers 2, is that the next room or something? Reply What a wonderful poem. Truly beautiful. I hope the message is heard. Reply Terrific. Reply You all are kidding about this poem being good, right? I also can't help but wonder what the size of her carbon footprint was flying from the Marshalls to NYC and back. Reply Ratio of men to women in that audience 80:20. The ratio needs to be around the other way. Do you think those members of the audience are going to be influenced by the moving poem? If there were any likelihood of that, why have they done nothing (let me emphasize that NOTHING) for all these years? It's us folks, us. We still waste and use and consume like there is no tomorrow. We don't even recognize what we do. It takes no laws to change today: don't idle your car and mention it to others when they do, that's wasting energy, that's all going into our atmosphere. Take a reusable bag with you to the supermarket, is it so hard? Are you waiting for a law before you take responsibility as an adult for the things you do? Still waiting for a big daddy to do the right thing? Well time to grow up now. Don't fly for pleasure, that sends out tonnes of emissions. Let's be the change and see what we can conserve. Conserving energy is a big piece of the solution besides, how can we demand anything while we ourselves waste energy unthinkingly. That is dissonance. Be the change! Reply Wow, kamolol Iroj, elap an eman speech in💖💖 Reply This is such a truthful call for action,,,,We need Developed countries including China to provide leadership in cutting down on their emissions as well as pay for their historical emissions in order for the vulnerable LDC and OASIS countries to adapt to the climate impacts,,,,,!!!
