This is very helpful to my class. Instead of just discussing what literature review is, the table is absolutely great for making them summarize the previously-conducted studies. Reply Great hints! I was not sure how to list and title my table for my research literature review. Reply Hi, can the table replace written down literature review in a thesis dissertation? Reply I am a student at GCU working on my Master's Degree in nursing education. Our instructor posted this video to help us with our final project. I found this video to be very helpful and will likely share it with my own nursing students. Thank you! Reply Very useful information. Thank you! Reply I love you Nurse Killam, thanks a lot Reply I had never ever ever and ever understood how to organize the material to write lit review better than this. After watching this video finally I got relief. Thx a lot Nurse Killam. God bless you for this contribution. It would be great if you share some knowledge and technique/s for writing Theoretical Frame work and Discussion part of a dissertation. Reply This video is very helpful. Thanks Reply Hi Laura Thank you for publishing this video. It is just what I needed. You are a fine teacher. Kind regardsDavid Reply you are amazing and have probably changed the way i organize outlines and massive amount of articles before writing a lit review forever!. Im so much more used to mla thesis papers, short essay, abstract over lit reviews. This assignment i have due really soon, i have to cite and use 10 sources and have to write 9-10 pages of strictly a literature review on those sources. The topic i chose and was approved by professor is more of a cultural social critical approach being that we are all journalism students doing it for a Media theory class. Topic: Under representations: Black and Latino Portrayals in Hollywood Films and Industry. another youtube poster suggested i use a chronological order and questions format where each broad question has to use the sources that have any themes or keywords within each question of body paragraphs. ex Q1: How of that under representation and why is this awareness of topic important. Q2. Negative effects of that under representationQ3: Positive effects researchers suggest of increased and equal representation of Blacks and Latinos in Hollywood films and industry for movie going audiences. ( thts like 65% of the paper) THen the summary and interpretation part and suggestions for future research part from myself after analyzing the lit review conclusions. sorry i wrote alot because im hoping at some point someone could help me with this to refer back in future as an example. im so far behind having only highlighted and outlined the paper that i need an act of god to help me at this point in short amount of time. Reply I would like to note that without a table i takes a huge amount of effort and time. Having a table is a great tool to organize your research. Thanks a lot for your videos! Reply Hi! Thank you so much for this, it's very helpful. The one thing I'm stuck on right now is how to figure out what the conceptual or theoretical framework is for a particular article. Is there a place in the article it's usually listed, or do you have to read between the lines to figure it out? Reply Im about to pursue postgrad. thanks for sharing this video. I will start my research proposal asap. Reply Thanks Nurse Killam. You are making a valuable contribution with your videos! Reply Your presentation is very helpful. It briefly summaries how to go about literature review Reply Thanks. Which data extraction tool do you recommend? Reply that is great workd Reply Really, I like it! Reply Very helpful, thank you Reply like you idea, thank you Reply I feel bad. I really like to video, butu like you mentioned it is hard to hear your voice over the music. Reply Is there a way to get rid of the music in the background? Reply This is great information for beginning candidates working on a lit review…bravo! I'm having problems with the voice, being synched with the action being shown on the video. It seems what you are talking about, and what you are showing is about 1 minute behind. Can I email you (I wish to use this in both an action research, and qual studies course I teach) to receive a video that is synched? Thank you! Reply Thank you! You explained with rationales which helps. My instructor directed me to a website that was helpful but not as thorough as yours. Thank again, please continue to post helpful information related to research. Reply Thank you for properly explaining this! My teachers expect me to do this perfectly, but never properly explained it. Reply Thanks a lot for positng, Nurse Killam Reply am having a hard time on how to start…:( Reply Thank you. Very helpful:) Reply Thank you for uploading 🙂 Reply Awesome work! Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
