  1. She was a monster and I will do anything if it means bringing her name threw the mud despite the fact it should have happened years ago 80 year old abuse.

  2. She presented kindly sweet motherly facade underneath was a hard-hearted women who does not care for children at all list of all her own she put fame at the detriment of her own children mind you Noddy wasn't that bad

  3. I have enjoyed her books since I was 8 and haven't stopped doing it. I adore them. She did a great job.

  4. To be honest, I wish that I'd never seen this. I read many Enid Blyton books, as a child, and always thought that she must be a very nice person – how wrong, it seems, I was! She appears to have been quite the opposite. In short, disappointing, for me.

  5. She was a part of my childhood, a part of my teenage……and now a few decades late (in my fifties) still a part of my dreams….

  6. yer..hmmm not very nice…one of my greatest heroes .. i hate how she treated the dog and her kids .. its a strange world and its become stranger and more unpleasant…im stunned!! My consolation is that a great good was in her books ..

  7. I used to devour Enid Blyton books as a child. I read all the Famous five books, Secret seven books, Fatty books etc etc. Excellent introduction to reading.
