  1. I would've liked to have seen more of his inimitable imagination, but then of course everyone's going to criticize. Within the confines of what it was, Dylan Thomas switching from ribald to unparalleled poet and back again at the drop of a hat is about right (mainly because he wrote most of his best works before he was 20, while sober, albeit perhaps with a bit of a hangover. And Death Has No Dominion written at 19?) I don't think we'll ever see his like again, unfortunately.
