AuthorHouse Review by Bruce Kimmel, AuthorHouse’s Most Published Author

“I’m Bruce Kimmel, author of twelve AuthorHouse
books.” “I’m very much a creature of habit, and I
loved the process of writing a book so much that I said, I think I’ll do this once a year.
I get up in the morning and I write, and you know, if I write five pages a day, I’m thrilled,
and nobody is telling you what to do. You’re on your own in your own head. And it’s the
most creative thing ever. And I’ve done a lot of creative things in my life but it is
THE most fulfilling. So I give my first book to my agent, William Morris, and they sent
it to their literary agent in New York, who liked the book but didn’t think anybody would
buy the book and therefore, refused to send it to any publishers.” “There was still a stigma with what they call
print-on-demand or self-publishing but I saw that world changing and how important the
internet was gonna be. I looked at several other companies but they were kinda toy companies’
and AuthorHouse seem to me to be REAL.” “I always have great experiences working with
MY production team. I always ask for the same people. The designer I use whose name is Robert
is fantastic. They’re really good people. They’re very nice. They’re very “there” for
people. Over the years, they have learned to make this a very simple deal.” “I really think AuthorHouse and I went on
this journey together. This kind of learning curve, how to make a beautiful, professional
book. It’s like nothing you’ve ever experienced, having that package arrive and holding your
book in your hand for the first time. It’s just a thrill. You open it, there’s your words
and people can now buy that book, it’s amazing!” “I love being AuthorHouse’s most published
author! And as the Gershwins said, ‘They can’t take that away from me.’ I’ll just keep on
doing it so nobody can beat me!”

  1. I'm a Vietnam Era Veteran who wrote the best selling memoir entitled, The Day HowdyDoody Died. Unfortunately, the proceeds have all gone into AuthorHouse's pockets and I haven't received a penny. If the book was a fiction, I wouldn't be as upset, but it's a memoir with photos of deceased relatives, my personal military experience and stories of friends who are no longer with us. Mr. Kimmel, consider yourself fortunate for being among the few who got paid.
