THE BENEFITS YOU’VE EARNED PASS YOU BY. CALL TODAY TO REGISTER IF YOU HAD THE PLEASURE OF PICKING UP THIS BOOK AFTER WE INTERVIEWED THE AUTHOR DANA PHIPPS LAST YEAR. THEN YOU ALREADY KNOW IT WAS A REAL PAGE TURNER IT SEEMED LIKE EVERY CHAPTER PRESENTED A DIFFERENT SUSPENSEFUL SCENARIO AND YOU JUST HAD TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. WELL WE’RE HAPPY TO TELL YOU DANA IS BACK AT IT AND WE’RE HAPPY TO WELCOME HER BACK WITH DETAILS ON HER LATEST BOOK IT’S CALLED PURSUIT AN OCEAN TIDES I HAVE THE OLD ONE YOU HAVE THE NEW ONE THE NEW THIS IS A SEQUEL ISN’T IT. IT IS A SEQUEL AND I WASN’T PLANNING TO WRITE A SECOND BOOK AT ALL. AND IT JUST CAME TO ME AFTER PEOPLE SAID WHEN YOU WRITING YOUR NEXT BOOK AND I THOUGHT WELL I’LL WRITE A SEQUEL AND PURSUIT AN OCEAN PINES WAS BORN. YEAH. SO TELL US ABOUT THE PROCESS OF PICKING UP WHERE THE LAST BOOK LEFT OFF. WERE THERE ANY CHALLENGES TO THAT. YES THERE WERE THE PLOT DEVELOP LITTLE BY LITTLE AND I DIDN’T WANT SISI TO BE THE MAIN CHARACTER THIS TIME THE IT WAS EASY BECAUSE THE CHARACTERS AND THE SETTING WERE THE SAME BUT THIS TIME AMY IS THE MAIN CHARACTER AND ALSO I WANTED TO INCLUDE HER EX-BOYFRIEND PAUL SIMMONS AND PAUL SIMMONS IS OBSESSED WITH WINNING AMY BACK INTO LIFE DESPITE THE FACT THAT SHE IS MARRIED TO PATRICK MCCOMB A PRIVATE DETECTIVE OH BOY. AND SHE BUMPS INTO HIM AND IS SURPRISED TO SEE HIM BUT HIS REPEATED ATTENTION IS UNWANTED BY HER. AND IN FACT HE BECOMES A NUISANCE AND AMY’S HUSBAND PATRICK MCCOMB TELLS HER BE CAREFUL TERROR WATCH YOURSELF I’M NOT COMFORTABLE WITH HIM BUMPING INTO YOU SO MUCH AND HE DIDN’T WANT HER TO BE CONFRONTED BY HIM ANYMORE. NOW YOU’RE NOT GONNA GIVE AWAY THE PLOT HERE ARE YOU? NO NOT REALLY NO I DON’T LIKE YOU TO DO THAT OK. SO IT’S JUST LIKE THE NAME OF BOTH BOOKS IMPLIES IT’S BASED OUT OF OCEAN PINES. YES. AND I LOVE THE SETTING OF OCEAN PINES. I LOVE OCEAN PINES. IT HAS 3000 PLUS SHADED ACRES AND 15000 PEOPLE LIVE THERE PERMANENTLY AND ABOUT TWENTY THREE THOUSAND PLUS PEOPLE ARE SUMMER DWELLERS AND THEY’RE NOT THERE IN THE OFF SEASON. SO THERE’S SOME VACANT HOUSES AND THAT’S WHAT I NEEDED FOR MY PLOT. BECAUSE PAUL SIMMONS IS QUITE A CHARACTER. BUT THE CHALLENGE FOR ME. YOU WERE SAYING IN WRITING THIS WAS WILL THE PEOPLE WHO ARE READING PURSUIT IN OCEAN PINES REALLY ENJOY IT IF THEY HAVEN’T READ MURDER OCEAN PINES FIRST AND ALSO A LOT PEOPLE SAID I REALLY LIKE THE ENDING OF MURDERING OCEAN PINES AND I’M WONDERING WILL THEY WILL THEY ENJOY OR BE SATISFIED WITH THE ENDING IN THIS BOOK. SO I HAD TO WORK ON THAT BECAUSE THAT WAS A CHALLENGE AND I HOPE THEY DO LIKE THE ENDING TOO. NOW YOU HAD MENTIONED YOU DID GET SOME FEEDBACK. PEOPLE WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? WHAT ANY OTHER FEEDBACK. WELL A LOT FRIENDS WHEN I TOLD THAT IT WAS RELEASE DATE SAID I’VE GOT TO BUY IT RIGHT AWAY THE BOOK SELLERS ON AUGUST 2ND THIS BOOK WAS RELEASED AND THE BOOKSELLERS IMMEDIATELY ORDERED THE BOOKS FOR THEIR SHELVES AND I WAS TOLD THAT BY THE MANAGERS OF A COUPLE BOOKSTORES THAT IT’S SELLING WELL AND WAS JUST RELEASED HIS SECOND GRADE.
