Thank you to everyone who attended Poets Network & Exchange Scholar Lecture Series “An Intimate Conversation and Reading” on October 18th, 2014. It was a lovely, inspiring and enriching experience. Thank you, to my co-moderators (audience members) for contributing to a lively conversation. Your participation and presence added to our program’s success.

Special thanks to our guests authors Wanda Denise Moore, Meriam Rodriguez and Kiini Ibura Salaam. Your presentations were on spot and well received by audience members and yours truly. I am left with the resounding message of the importance of studying craft, writing and not being discouraged. The importance of becoming a member of a writing workshop and community of writers.
