πŸ‡°πŸ‡·When Ollie Meets the Korean Textbook Author…

hi I'm Jo I'm Molly and I am very uncomfortable I'm from talk to me in Korean hey Jack Lee I love it finally doing this yeah yes the master meets the apprentice yes this is like when they send emergency aid supplies into a design I'm really curious yeah yeah it's good I'm gonna leave you guys to it all right of your similar space I can reattach it now I've been watching the audio lessons that closely I have them all of them I think yeah and I've criticized the book quite a lot I know every time you stare at the camera yeah and say you know I'm like angry inside just kidding but I actually don't know how much of the previous lessons you actually remember I mean we should say I'm very jet-lagged uh-huh I didn't sleep well haven't have breakfast I've only have one coffee yeah so I would ordinarily be a lot better but I'm about to do all right okay let's do this Isaac and person magic pose I think I never check normal money combo hairstyle I checked into a motel magic and Agito are the same and if you are more frustrated you can say as you do you don't wanna sell I just wanna soil yeah you're still not here you're on the phone oh okay yeah yeah mwah tongue Wow okay pronunciation tip make it a little less at football like okay instead of saying Chung hua did it sound like you're angry perfect just soft just imagine I'm calm I'm a baby okay no need to imagine Joe so this is how it goes Josh yeah yeah all right so the focus of this lesson is on two expressions with opposite meanings which can help you express still or not yet and already already magic which I already know you mean still or not yet yeah Eiji couldn't Molly Kumari big head big eyed you door morning on 1 John Coyle I think the body got by and uncoil yeah yeah ok ok postal was so sexy Dao okay let's angry this ain't good poster wow that thing is you could be angry it's already 3 God could be excited oh yeah you're meeting kono at 3 o'clock exactly you know what saw yeah I think this lesson might be a little bit too easy for you but we here we have something more difficult oh ok Aimee is already pasta is already ok I'll try to explain and let's see if you can understand it's a hard one Jamie Jamie Jamie Jamie Jamie oh yeah ami is when you are already aware of the fact there's no element of surprise but perso is like with a little bit of surprise so you came to a dinner table and the food is all gone postal time oversell okay yeah food is already gone yeah let's take another example how old are you if you don't mind me ship here how much it'd be great why don't she be good how much a beauty book 31 minutes Sam cheap earmarks I booked their Maat Maat side one side the other side yeah okay yeah I'm trained to you know experience all these mistakes okay not like a as frustrated as charged you are whore enhance REO Soren Hansen and if I'm surprised I guess a perso harder nuns have you okay I already already what look like a baby yeah and if I yeah I wouldn't say that but if I were to say that I look like a baby and you can say give me total hands out you I am already you're not surprised yeah yeah so there's a gray area but that's the basic difference can I ask you some questions about learning in general okay learning Korean in general and I actually brought some books for you lots of new ones whoa oh wow I think I thank you guys those books are three years ago oh my gosh too many more oh thank you so much yeah so I I'm not here to sell any books no I also take cash but yeah so these are all for you my gosh can we can say you're on your own I mean you know we joke a lot about this and I make fun of the book quite a lot but I know you know in all honesty it's an amazing resource if you're looking to learn Korean this is an adverb but it might as well be because the books that these guys make is so good yeah Thank You Keanu for putting this together this will be all screen captured and put on the front page of our website but let's pay attention I don't think I'm a very good ambassador I mean you are it's not about how few when you are it's about wanting to learn more and more every day so you're a good living example of a lifelong learning yeah yeah yeah I think it is gonna take a lifelong yeah you want to learn one more thing yes okay I have your honor here I'm gonna make the most of it and this one is also frequently asked torta dota2 ah ha ha Joe ah ha ha we can say hyung go go enjoy while I watch while there but if you fell in love with the language it's not a nail yeah you could say that I was hanging out but if you are saying that you generally like Korean language okay how much why Oh hyung what do I owe ya so it's a little bit different so okay by the time I say this you are like oh okay you've got a tough case here yeah I know maybe it wasn't a the best example okay but yeah Tiwari oh this is so hard I think we should have ended at a me and parcel yeah you're new mm-hmm jo hi oh hey oh hey OH – ah hey OH you just nailed it with the marker hello reg why here we have a seared white and it's not rude to refer to a person as an object I don't to be objectifying anyone okay okay but only for linguistic surface yes only for language dirty asses yeah respect for chewy oh you have to stay casual ah that is good that's the subject so you catch who are you I thought common good yeah can I can I say that yeah yeah hey oh okay I say let's be a little bit polite okay okay I say Oh Cassio Cassio get out good point to end the lesson on get out who's telling home well thanks so much y'all yeah what's me have you got any like general tips for me learning career I mean I would love to learn Korean and I'm frustrated that I'm not better than I am I'm not improving as much as I want to have you any tips well just give it time maybe 30 40 years you'll eventually get as fluent as Josh Sasha Sasha mignon yeah but I think what you are doing in front of the camera is great because a lot of people just study in solitude like study in their room and there's a huge gap between studying and actually speaking to a native speaker or somebody else so you need some linguistic rehearsals okay either through speaking out loud or writing on social media it doesn't have to be correct a risky thing I did hashtag younggu ninh man ninja ninja man traffic I've seen I create a hashtag I'm the top hashtag for your momjo you came from one yeah so I mean just keep doing what you're doing and do it more often you're doing a rehearsal you are embarrassing yourself yeah enough times to actually remember a thing or two so okay great I can see you improved oh thank you yeah cintamani do certain time it happens a video pastor Tabata huh all right you did good man yeah yeah yeah you've expressed a little bit of what it's like yeah yeah I can I can feel more respect inside my heart and not for you well hopefully our main inspirations students and a lot of people yeah they can't be more embarrassing than me yes exactly exactly if they they have the confidence I can do better than yeah I'm not the last see you later all right thank you so much [Applause] you

  1. I think i'm gonna buy his book 🀣 thank you ollie … i know a lot of korean words because of u

  2. Hyunwoo patience have been tested by Ollie πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ im dying laughing and learning in the same time…Good job guyss but it’s tooo shorttt γ… γ…

  3. Actually, I used to teach Korean to foreign friends when I was in Korea, and Ollie You're doing soooooo well!!
You can be proud of yourself a bit more haha. Only the thing what I want to suggest you as a person who taught Korean language is, "Make at least 5sentences with the word you learn on each day. On your own! and ask Josh to correct that! Wish you be there:)

  6. I think that learning a new language has a lot to do with how much you need to learn it. Like for instance, Korean and English – I can speak and read them quite well because I HAD to learn them- I was living there, going to school there and so on. But like French which I learned in school for 3 yrs, and Latin which I've been learning for about 2 months (lol), I'm rubbish at… It's going to take a lot of effort and time if you're not pressured to learn it quickly and fluently as possible. So I think Ollie's really doing a great job.

  8. The difference between ν•œκ΅μ–΄ μ’‹μ•„μš” (jo-ah-yo) and ν•œκ΅μ–΄ μ’‹μ•„ν•΄μš” (jo-ah-he-yo) is in the subjective vs. objective belief. Joahyo is more like an objective standard (as in, β€œOTHERS will likely agree that Korean language is good”), while Joahheyo is more of a subjective standard (as in, β€œI PERSONALLY like the Korean language).

  12. Guys, keep doing this kind of episodes where you guys search high and low for ollie's korean language teacher, their respond is very hillarious. Big amount of respect for JoshπŸ˜‚ for putting up with ollie. I love Ollie😍😎

  14. my two online teachers are here! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ No, but seriously, Ollie's stupid questions are sometimes MY stupid questions lol

  15. Hi Sir Josh and Ollie, I hope you'll notice this comment. I know that Sir Ollie has been learning Korean for a long time now and he's still not that advanced in the language so I thought maybe he needs a different approach. I saw this video here in YT as well and you might wanna try it: https://youtu.be/illApgaLgGA
"How to acquire any language and NOT learn it"
    Have a nice day 😊

  16. ν˜„μš°μ”¨ 생각보닀 μ ŠμœΌμ‹œλ‹€ λ‚œ κ½€ μ—°μ„Έλ“œμ‹  뢄일쀄ㅋㅋ

  17. Best video ever !!! Ollie rest assured that I’m worse than you. I’m not fluent in English and yet I started to learn korean !

  18. All the joke aside, Ollie is not a difficult learner at all, he just hasn't met a teacher who can explain well and has patience to do it properly.. Maybe some day 🀞

  19. This has renewed my motivation to learn Korean. I can be better than Ollie πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  20. I love your editing Ollie. It is so good focus on elements or expression that comes up randomly

  21. Here is a simple differenciation btw μ’‹λ‹€ and μ’‹μ•„ν•˜λ‹€.
    μ’‹λ‹€: it is good.
    μ’‹μ•„ν•˜λ‹€: I like it.
So, "ν•œκ΅μ–΄ μ’‹μ•„μš”." means: "Korean language is good."
And "ν•œκ΅μ–΄ μ’‹μ•„ν•΄μš”." means: "I like Korean language."

  22. im learning korean and im pretty sure im a lot worse than Ollie, and here you all making fun of him, i guess its gonna take me 90 years to learn korean 😭 i cant even put sentences together. at least he can

  23. Wow hyeonwooo teacher….I'm glad to see you here ..thanks to yr ttmik lesson they helped me along the way learning Korean
